TLDR it’s a good start but has a ways to go to become my primary card game app.Canasta Palace – Play a fun game of Canasta live against real players.Ĭanasta, the team-based tactical card game with tons of fun! Comparable to games like Rummy, Bridge, or Phase 10, Canasta requires above all brains and tactical skill. They appear to be adding more games so it’s nice to have a central hub for my card games. I honestly wouldn’t even play it anymore if it weren’t for that. There are zero ads which is a huge win for it. The good things are the game is crisp - it looks and sounds good. I’d also love stats for bot games there may be stats for multiplayer but I haven’t found a single person to play with. There are also no options for rule variants or speeding up moves - which means sometimes you are moving too fast for the game. There is also no resume function so if you don’t finish a game you don’t get to continue later. It’s also missing an undo function for those with fat fingers like myself but I’d understand leaving that out (vs bots only obviously). The ai is also extremely bad - my partner missed his bid every single hand except the one hand I went nil and unfortunately nobody plays online so I have to play with bots. I would have thought bicycle would have the right rules if anyone would but spades doesn’t subtract for missing your bid. Wow, thank you for such a great review! We're glad you're loving the app so far and can't wait for you to see what we have coming in 2022! Keep up the good work, y'all! I can't wait to see what the future holds for this app. But that's a completely dull butter knife in the center of a mile-wide haystack. The only downside is sometimes when playing solitaire, I move faster than the cards can handle, as the animation for moving a card is maybe a fraction of a second slow, and it misses my input. Maybe gin and 500 rummy, but at least one of those is coming soon, so I'm stoked! I really hope this app doesn't end up being forgotten by Bicycle, because it's honestly perfect. I was recently shown this app from a relative and I'll never need another app again this is the OFFICIAL solitaire app if I've ever seen it! No ads, though I wouldn't be opposed to them, smooth gameplay, and I can listen to music while using the app. I play solitaire a ridiculous amount, both with physical cards and through apps or websites.
