This was my wife's MacBook before we were married and she has long since stolen my 2011 MacBook for herself and no longer uses the old one. I can always try to save the data at a later point if possible. There are backups, they just arent recent. It was only 160GB of mostly photos and music. I don't care about data recovery from this machine.
